First shifts at the splash pad: Friday and Saturday, 8 to 5:30. On Friday there will be 300 kids on class trips there and I will probably murder them, unless the 80% chance of rain prediction comes true.

This is one of the butterflies that managed to break out of its cocoon. It just sort of hung out on my hand for a few minutes before flying away and I was so happy.

I’ve been raising a bunch of caterpillars for the past week or so, but these ones fell off the roof of their cage when they turned into cocoons. Sometimes they can still hatch once they’ve fallen, so I am keeping an eye on the little guys.
